Responsibility for the architecture and design of IT platforms that are scalable, secure and powerful

Analysis and evaluation of existing platforms for identifying optimization potentials and innovation opportunities

Development of architectural roadmaps and strategies to integrate new technologies and platforms

close cooperation with software developers, infrastructure teams and other architectural domains to define requirements and ensure implementation

Promoting best practices in the architecture and implementation of standards for platform solutions

Mentoring and support of team members in architectural issues

Ensuring compliance with architecture standards and best practices

Support in the planning and implementation of IT projects

completed studies in computer science, economic informatics or a comparable qualification

at least 5 years of experience in IT architecture, e.g. as software architect, platform architect, cloud architect or comparable roles

deep knowledge of modern platform technologies such as Ansible, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Backstage, SQL and NoSQL

Knowledge of the use of architectural patterns such as Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, etc.

high focus on automation, ideal experience in platform engineering

Understanding safety standards and practices

Experience in implementing security measures at platform level

excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of technical relationships

excellent communication skills and the ability to understand complex technical concepts

very good knowledge of German and English
