Product Manager (m/f/d)

With 4,700 technical units, our virtual power plant markets a total of 4.568 MW of production performance and flexibility and is able to place thousands of decentralized energy producers, consumers and storage on all relevant energy and flexibility markets as best as possible. As Product Manager (gn), you develop our products and marketing strategies in the area of decentralized energy management and identify new potentials in the environment of biogas and biomass. In close cooperation with our technical development team, you will create innovative solutions at the interface of market, technology and customer needs and will thus actively contribute to the further development of our virtual power plant.

Responsible for the development and further development of the product strategy in line with the corporate objectives. Identification of new potentials through the analysis of market trends, customer needs and competitive developments. Definition and prioritization of market and product requirements for existing and future solutions. Planning and implementation of market, communication and competition strategies. Development of product positioning, benefit arguments and sales documents for different target groups. Assessment and analysis of potential partnerships as part of buy, build or partner strategies. Continuous collection and evaluation of customer feedback as well as the transfer to product development. Definition, monitoring and optimization of relevant KPIs to ensure product profitability. Standardization of products including product descriptions, processes, pricing and coordination of billing and contract works. Close cooperation with the technical development team of the virtual power plant. Accompanying customer appointments and professional representation of the company and our products at trade fairs and conferences. Creation and presentation of strategic decision bases based on analyses, KPIs and business cases.

Successfully completed studies in the field of economics or a comparable degree programme. Experience in product management, ideally in the energy or technology environment. You bring expertise in biogas / biomass. Knowledge of product, market and competition strategies. Analytical and strategic thinking as well as KPI and business case confession. Technical understanding and experience in cooperation with development teams. Communication strength, self-initiative and structured functioning. Very good knowledge of German and English.
