Your role / What will you do? As an application consultant SAP IS-U, you work in a dynamic environment that is rapidly evolving due to the current innovations and processual specifications initiated by the legislator (digitalization of the energy transition, big data, AI/ML, etc.). Your field of application is located in the context of our SAP IS-U system in the field of market communication (change processes) as an application consultant. You cover the entire range of the solution in terms of process analysis, requirement definition and tuning, conception and “unit and system tests”. You are responsible for the specification and design of SAP processes based on legal requirements in the field of market communication as well as company-internal optimization initiatives. As a Requirements Engineer / Application Consultant, you work in the team and start working together with our Business Units solution concepts, are part of projects in your field of competence, closely accompany the technical implementation and actively contributes to carrying out the process tests. Your tasks and responsibilities: Conceptual preparation and cooperation in complex and innovative SAP projects in the energy sector in the value-added processes of energy distribution Transformation of requirements (process and technology consulting) from the digitization of the energy transition into forward-looking and efficient SAP / software architectures Work in a highly integrated system environment (essentially: SAP IS-U, SAP CRM, Digital Layer, Interfaces to Resystems) Analysis of legal requirements for the energy industry (e.g. Federal Network Agency, BDEW and EDI@ENERGY) and deriving effects on processes and functions Technical analyses and system support for our customers in the context of SAP IS-U SLA's planning, preparation, implementation and control of “Unit and System Tests” for the productive IS-U systems and in project systems; Test coordination and support Preparation, implementation and moderation of workshops in which requirements and processes are defined together with our customers Conversion of solutions based on concepts into SAP systems Location: Berlin or Hamburg

Your profile As an application consultant, you are able to capture, conceptualize and specify complex technical, legal, regulatory and market-specific requirements in the SAP IS-U environment, as well as, if necessary, to perform system adjustments (e.g. customizing). To do this, you know professionally in the energy industry and on the application side in SAP IS-U well and know how to use this knowledge in a targeted and sustainable manner. We are looking for someone who combines these competencies with commitment and the ability to understandably describe complex issues conceptually, to vote with stakeholders (e.g. specialist areas, developers) and to document them in a comprehensible manner. You'll bring: Higher education (Bachelor or Master) or comparable level of experience Practical experience in the project work of complex IT projects At least 4 years of experience in the energy industry (focus on market communication, change processes) Knowledge of regulatory documents and requirements (in particular GPKE / GeLi Gas, WiM) Remarkable: Knowledge of SAP Solution and Product Portfolio SAP for Utilties (including S4/HANA and SAP Cloud Solutions) Optimum 4 years of experience in SAP IS-U Experience in SAP IS-U Market Communication (IDEX) Remarkable: technical understanding for ABAP OO, SAP Workflow and SQL Ability to conceptual work Strength in the application of structured and methodological methods Communication and team skills, self-initiative and independent working, as well as an analytical mindset Organisational and problem-solving competence Language knowledge: German (sales-proof), English (good)
