Head of Department Route Planning (m/f/d)

The focus of your activity is the management, control and coordination of the tasks, objectives and processes of the section route planning incl. Monitoring of budget and resources requirements You also take on the disciplinary and professional responsibility for your employees As a department manager, you are responsible for the technical quality assurance of the pre-planning, design planning, approval planning and execution planning set up in the department, including legal regulations. This also applies to the associated areas surveying and planning of third parties. Furthermore, you are responsible for legal proceedings for obtaining building rights on the basis of the submitted draft documents and take over the project management for planning measures with plan setting procedures Your responsible range of tasks will be rounded off by monitoring compliance with instructions for action in terms of workflows and work results, conducting employee talks and coordinating training in your function as a manager

Optimum prerequisite for this position is a completed academic degree in the field of civil engineering, a comparable qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired in practice You have multi-year professional experience in an engineering office or in public administration Furthermore, your professional career has already gained experience in professional and disciplinary leadership In addition, you have knowledge in the field of road planning and planning law such as the Road Law (FStrG), Environmental Impact Assessment (UVPG), Immission Protection Act (BImSchG), Honorary Regulation for Architects and Engineers (HOAI) Due to your multi-year professional experience, you also have knowledge of the guidelines for road planning (according to the Research Society for Road Transport (FGSV) and the Federal Institute for Road Transport (BASt)) You have a class B licence and willingness to travel You have very good German skills (min. level C1 by GeR/CEFR) This distinguishes you as a manager: You think in complex relationships and have a pronounced willingness to design, combined with value-adding behavior and self-reflection.
