Trainee Shipping (f/m/d)

The trainee program lasts 18 months and starts on 1. October 2026 Your use takes place in the Shipping business area From the outset, you will get a sound entry into the world of ship financing, risk assessment and customer-oriented credit processes and learn to analyze, structure and accompany international financing. You support cash flow analyses, sensitivity calculations, credit ratings and the assessment of market and segment developments, as the focus is always on risk analysis You actively participate in the management of internal credit processes – from the creation of credit ratings and applications to the preparation of credit decisions taking into account regulatory requirements At the same time, you will get comprehensive insights into customer support: preparation and participation in customer discussions, support in structuring financing solutions and processing of customer requests and coordination with internal and external interfaces You will get to know the basics of contract design, for example in terms heets or loan contracts according to LMA standard, in close cooperation with the Legal Department You actively shape your development path and hospitierst based on an individual development plan in selected interface areas of the bank You are planned in the long term: After successful completion of the trainee program, your takeover is fixed You get regular feedback and benefit from intensive care by:n Mentor:in the field You will develop further in a targeted manner: Our training program will help you develop professionally and personally continuously

You have a completed university degree with a focus on economics or a comparable qualification (e.g. a banker or a banker:in) and brings extensive experience in the field of banking You bring a strong interest in risk management, financing analyses and customer-oriented credit processes with You enjoy analytical questions as well as working with numbers, models and evaluating complex facts You have very good English skills and are confident in handling internal and external contacts: You convince with pronounced communication and team skills and a high service orientation You are drawing on your own initiative, commitment, resilience and a structured, solution-oriented way of working out You are sure to deal with standard software; first experiences with analysis tools or bank tools are a plus, but no need You are open to new perspectives and are looking for personal development
