(Senior) IT Pre-Sales Consultant with a focus on Cyber Security (m/f/d)

As a (Senior) IT Pre-Sales Consultant (all gender) with focus on cyber security, you take technical responsibility into complex security issues, transformation projects and managed security services projects. Together with sales, delivery and specialist areas, you develop scalable, future-oriented and innovative security architectures for customers from the top middle class, the enterprise environment and the public sector. In the supply and consulting phase, you are the central technical Sparring partner (all genders) and at eye level with CIOs, CISOs and IT managers – you are instrumental in transferring complex requirements into convincing and sustainable solutions. Your mission – or, in other words, your tasks You take on the overall technical responsibility for security architectures in alerts and managed security projects – from request analysis to bid delivery. You advise customers at specialist and management level, analyze complex security requirements and develop appropriate cyber security architectures and concepts. You design and calculate security solutions for managed services, outsourcing and transformation projects in close cooperation with internal departments. You present solution architectures convincingly in workshops, bidding discussions and negotiations with C-level, purchasing and security managers. You create and manage technical content for RFI/RFP processes and make sure that regulatory and normative requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI-IT-Grundschutz and NIS2) are met. You identify technical and project-specific risks early on, develop appropriate countermeasures and actively contribute to the successful deal and project completion. You continuously analyze market, technology and threat trends in the cyber security environment and develop innovative, competitive solutions.

What you bring – besides the desire to move something You have a degree in computer science, business informatics and a comparable qualification with a focus on IT or cyber security. You have well-founded technical expertise in several of the following areas: Network Security, Cloud Security, IAM, SIEM / SOC, Endpoint Security, Zero Trust, Backup and Recovery, Virtualization and Hybrid and Cloud Architectures. You bring several years of experience in pre-sales, solution design, or as security architects (all genders) to an IT or managed security service provider and have already taken technical responsibility roles in complex alerts. You have extensive experience in creating RFP / RFI responses as well as offerings for managed security services, IT outsourcing or security transformation projects. You bring well-founded knowledge to standards and compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, BSI-IT-Grundschutz, NIS2 or C5, and you can safely use this in the development of technical solutions. You work in a structured, analytical and self-responsive manner and keep track of complex tendering and offer processes under high time pressure. You can present complex technical and safety-relevant topics clearly, understandably and convincingly to management, specialist areas and customers. You communicate in German and English in writing as oral. You convince with a sovereign appearance, a high customer orientation and a pronounced understanding of business and safety-relevant requirements.
