Electronics engineers for operating technology install electrical components and systems in the fields of electrical power supply, industrial plants or building system and automation technology. They design plant changes and extensions, install line guidance systems and power lines, align machines and drive systems and mount switching devices. They also program, configure and check systems and security devices. They also monitor the plants, maintain them regularly, perform regular checks and repair them in case of a malfunction. They also organize the assembly of systems and monitor the work of service providers and other structures. When the systems are handed over, electronic operators for operating technology will be able to use future users.
