Senior Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)

Are you looking for a technically highly demanding position in which you perfect the interplay of buildings and modern robotics? Senior Technical Manager*in (m/w/d) is the technical mastermind behind our highly complex, fully automated filling center (FC) in Oberhausen. You are acquiring on a macro-technical level and with your deep technical know-how to work together building infrastructure and advanced automation technology like a single, fault-free organism. While a separate automation team takes care of the pure material handling equipment (MHE), you control the whole thing: you manage high budgets, complex service contracts and ensure the technical operational readiness in an absolute high-speed environment. It's waiting for you Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the technical condition and operational safety of automated FC. You bridge the gap between TGA and logistics processes. Stakeholder management: You are the primary strategic contact person for the location management and at eye level with the Automation & Engineering Leadership. Crisis management: In case of critical system failures, you keep an overview, coordinate highly specialized service providers under massive time pressure, and start messy root Cause analyses. Budget maintenance: You conduct highly complex, large-volume technical projects (CAPEX/OPEX) and tax specialized contracts (e.g. for highly developed cooling and IoT systems). Innovation: You use advanced data models as well as IoT infrastructure tools to proactively solve systemic problems and drive network-wide innovations.

A completed study (Bachelor or Master) in Facility Management, Building Technology, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical field. 5–7 years of well-founded professional experience in technical facility management, ideally in the care of highly automated logistics centers (e.g. with TGW, Dematic or Vanderlande systems). Flowing German, very good English and a class B driving licence. Conceptual, abstract thinking at macro level combined with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear operational steps. A strong Act-like-an-Owner mentality. You set exceptionally high technical standards and defend FM requirements even under operational pressure.
