For our newly created housing facility in Padenstedt near Neumünster we are looking for a dedicated pedagogical specialist as an educator with team management tasks (m/w/d).

In our group, we accompany children aged 3 to 10 with a 24-hour reception and create a protected, reliable and development-promoting habitat for them. The animal-accompanied pedagogy is an important part of our pedagogical concept.

A completed training as a state-recognized educatorin, curative nursein or a comparable educational qualification Experience and joy in pedagogical work with children aged 3 to 10 – ideally in stationary child and youth assistance First experiences in the technical guidance or leadership of a team are desirable Motivation and commitment to actively build up a new institution with the accompanying educational focus Interest in animal-accompanied pedagogy and responsible and safe handling of animals An empathic, appreciative and at the same time clear attitude as well as a professional approach to proximity and distance Responsibility and respectful handling of children, families, employees and cooperation partners Organizational talent, self-sufficiency and enforcement capability, combined with strong team and communication skills A solution- and resource-oriented working and security in dealing with challenging situations Intercultural competence and openness to different life plans and family backgrounds Flexibility, reliability, resilience, humour and readiness to work in the shift system – also on weekends and holidays Willingness to participate in planning and design processes as well as regular participation in continuing and continuing training Good oral and written expressiveness and safety in technical documentation Willingness to submit a flawless extended police report
