As a Trainee in Digital Production Engineering at Mercedes-Benz, you will help shape the future of our production in Sindelfingen. Your mission: drive the digitalization of processes and products to enable efficient industrialization and the smooth introduction of complex vehicle models. You will work on projects that set clear KPIs and use cutting-edge digital tools to monitor and production improve performance. By integrating new model derivatives seamlessly, you will contribute to Operational Excellence and ensure our production stays ahead of the curve. This role offers you the chance to combine technology and innovation, gain deep insights into manufacturing, and make a real impact on how we build the cars of tomorrow.

An above-average degree (master, MBA or doctorate) Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Informatics, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a comparable course of study

Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)

At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)

Strong affinity for digital technologies and enthusiasm for future trends

We value applicants who show a strong sense of social responsibility

German skills and English skills (C1), or other

You are eager to shape the transformation at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with exceptional analytical abilities

You demonstrate strong teamwork skills who motivates others to achieve their goals
