The Caritas Association for the City of Bonn is the local welfare association of the Catholic Church. With more than 1,100 employees, we offer support for people in the areas of children, youth and family, integration and rehabilitation as well as life and living in age and illness. In our more than 60 different facilities and services we accompany people according to the personal situation of life. As a partner of the city society, we actively promote social cooperation and social participation for all people in the federal city of Bonn.

The youth workshop is a vocational measure in the transition school/occupation for disadvantaged young people and young adults aged 16 to 23. The young people are guided weekly on 3 working days in the areas of hotel and restaurant, hairdresser and bicycle technology.

In addition, creative and free-time educational offers take place. In parallel, they are accompanied, stabilized and activated and prepared for the work and training market.

We are looking for practical instructions in the area of hairdresser craft from August 2026

(m/w/d) or hairdresser*in (m/w/d) with many years of experience

with an employment rate of 80% (31.2 hours/week) Your tasks:

They guide young people and young adults professionally in the field of hairdressing crafts. They provide basic knowledge of cutting, care and styling techniques. They promote competencies in dealing with customers/models as well as in sales. They address the participants in operational processes and occupational requirements. They support the development of important key competencies such as reliability, punctuality and team capacity. They work closely with internships and training companies. They structure the workshop everyday and organize the work processes. They document the learning and development progress of young people. They work constructively and reliably in the multi-professional team.

Your profile:

Complete master's examination in the hairdresser's craft or completed vocational training as a hairdresser*in with many years of professional experience Ideally training examination (AEVO) or proven experience in the guidance, training or work with young people Educational skills and interest in work with disadvantaged young people and young adults Patience, clarity and high competence Empathy and appreciation of the target group Self-responsible action, team skills and creativity a positive attitude to the Christian principles of our association
