(Senior) Account Manager (m/f/d)

As a senior account manager (all genders) for DATGAROUP Ulm GmbH, you take on the overall strategic responsibility for our key customer relationships. You act as a trusted relationship manager (all genders) at eye level, control complex customer constellations sovereignly and ensure long-term, partnership cooperation. Your focus is on the proactive management of customer relationships, the early detection of risks and the professional support of escalations at a contractual and communication level. Your tasks include: Strategic relationship management for complex and business-critical customers Takeover of the role as a contractual escalation entity and sovereign control of critical customer situations Early identification, assessment and transparent communication of risks to all relevant internal stakeholders Planning, coordination and moderation of customer meetings at operational and strategic level Structured recording, prioritization and documentation of customer requirements and expectations Systematic transfer of customer feedback to Sales, Solution Architects and Delivery Units for continuous performance improvement Close, strategic coordination with Sales to identify and implement upselling and expansion potentials Communicative leadership and support of internal teams in escalation with the goal of sustainable, resilient solutions Active customer strategy and continuous development of the customer portfolio In this role, you combine strong communication strength, commercial understanding and strategic vision and contribute significantly to customer loyalty, the further development of existing accounts and the economic success of the company.

For this responsible senior position at the DATAGROUP Ulm GmbH, you will bring well-founded professional qualifications, multi-year professional experience as well as distinct communicative and organizational skills: Complete degree (e.g. Bachelor or Master) of Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT Management or a comparable discipline or a comparable completed vocational education and training Multiannual professional experience in Account Management, Key Account Management or in a comparable customer-oriented senior role Detectable experience in managing complex customer relationships as well as in dealing with escalation and decision situations Structured, analytical and self-responsible operation with high earnings and customer orientation Embossed presentation and communication skills and secure appearance as well as ability to host demanding customer and stakeholders Good IT skills and understanding of IT services, solutions and contractual relationships Ideally industry knowledge in the IT service environment Experience in identifying upselling and expansion potentials and in close cooperation with sales and solution teams High social competence, negotiation security and a strong sense of customer needs
