You are responsible for the disciplinary and professional leadership of the obsolescence management team The strategic and operational development of the department as well as responsibility for the outcome of business development including the planning and responsibility of the budget is one of your tasks They are responsible for personnel planning and personnel development as well as the demand and promotion of employees as well as the management of employee talks The analysis, monitoring and systematic detection of components taking into account the technical aspects, interfaces and interaction at product/system level is in your hands They undertake the initiation and coordination of measures to remedy obsolescence and mitigation of obsolescence risk as well as the further development of obsolescence management plans and their strategies They work closely with external suppliers as well as internal departments such as development, product and project management as well as purchasing You take care of ensuring work instructions and performance of tasks with regard to quality standards and time management In addition, monitor assemblies of obsolescences using a database Regular reporting and reporting of obsolescence status to internal and external customers manage They analyse the areas of use, stocks and orders as well as the impact representation of obsolete components on the delivery capability They assemble the pre-rate height of components, take over the presentation of potential alternatives for the parts announced and take over the investigation of possible costs The development of decision-making bases, the introduction of measures to solve the problem and the documentation of decision-making is also one of your priorities. They have a successfully completed degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification in the technical field You bring professional experience in obsolescence management or lifecycle management They are characterized by a pronounced experience in the disciplinary staff management Ideally, you have a certification in project and configuration management They have a strong understanding of rifle products and their life cycle Their work is in the strategic and entrepreneurial way of thinking and action as well as a willingness to take responsibility and make decisions Very good communication strength combined with constructive conflict and persuasiveness complete your profile You have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure Microsoft Office knowledge as well as ideal SAP knowledge In addition, you will bring a readiness to travel
