Archivist - historical archive (m/f/d)

On or Expansion of the company archive and its archive system, then responsible contact for the archive and system: Identification, evaluation, development and preservation of historical archives (e.g. documents, products, objects, image, sound and film documents of Schaeffler AG) Preservatory treatment of all archives, their storage into the archive depot and organized storage of the collections in Herzogenaurach, Bühl and Schweinfurt Collection and systematisation of the archives into the archive database ACTAPro and data management for more efficient use by in- and external users Organisation of access to documents in the archive Training of internal users in handling ACTAPro Conducting research on company and product history Conceptual and operational support of internal and external source communication/Historical communication Answer company-internal requests to the company archive

Relevant professional and project experience (preferably in an industrial company) Good IT skills, knowledge of the use of common archive management systems or Archive databases desirable (e.g. ACTAPro from Startext) knowledge of long-term digital archiving as well as the development of digital archives, experiences in the communication of origin or Historical communication (including time witness interviews) Self-working, communication strength and interest in technical products
