Do you want to contribute to the development of solutions that support not only the company, but also various areas of expertise in the safe use of artificial intelligence? Then this is your chance to start as an intern in the field of AI Security Engineering & Digital Portfolio at Mercedes-Benz AG. We are looking for someone with fresh ideas, an analytical mindset and a strong ability to create content that is willing to accept the challenges surrounding AI security, governance and awareness. Our team works at the interface between security, technology and business and supports central initiatives for the safe and responsible use of AI in the company. These challenges include: Participation in central AI security and awareness initiatives – from topic research to implementation of specific formats

Own creation of content for AI security awareness (e.g. presentations, onepager, intranet contributions)

Support in the design, pre- and post-processing of AI Security Sessions and collaboration in the AI Security User Circle

Translation of complex AI security and governance issues into understandable, target-group-oriented content

Creation of session content, summaries and best practice documents in the context of exchange and community formats

Research and analysis of current and emerging topics, trends and technologies in the field of AI Security and Governance

Development and visualization of existing awareness materials

Use of generic AI (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT) to support content creation, analysis and communication

Support in structuring and maintaining knowledge content on internal platforms (e.g. Intranet, Confluence)

Documentation and visualization of AI-Use cases and workflows as well as the first implementation of simple automation solutions (e.g. n8n)

The activity can begin from August 2026.

You are an immatricated student*in in the field of (media) informatics, business informatics, communication, data science or a comparable course of study, and you are looking for an exciting opportunity for at least six months to gain practical experience in the context of AI security and governance

You convince by a quick understanding and a structured and independent way of working. Reliability and high quality awareness are just as good as a good organizational talent

In addition, you bring creative ideas, a good sense of targeted communication, and very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing with

You are interested in topics related to Artificial Intelligence, AI Security and Governance and are delighted to prepare complex content in a comprehensible manner

A safe handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint, is of course for you. Ideally, you have already gained first experiences with content creation, knowledge management or tools like Confluence

As a team player, you value cooperation in an interdisciplinary environment and want to work together with us at the Stuttgart-Vaihingen site. Mobile work is possible in coordination with the team.
