RENK, a global leader in innovative drive solutions, is looking for an experienced Head of Product Management (m/w/d) for its marine area. In this important role, you take responsibility for the entire existing product portfolio as well as for the development of new products and solutions and thus contribute significantly to securing our market leadership in the naval market and further promoting it in the commercial sector.

Your duties

• Head of Product Management Marine: Responsibility for the design and introduction of a cross-site product portfolio management incl. Leadership of a small team
• Active participation in the product development process: creation of market models, assessment of business cases based on them and tracking the implementation of projects from the customer perspective
• Market analysis: Analysis of market potentials, customer requirements and competition for the development of competitive Value Proposition as a basis for the development of new products
• Interface function: Consulting sales, marketing, subsidiaries and agents, as well as responsibility for providing presentations and training for new products
• Co-responsibility for commercial success: global support in the introduction of new products for the maritime market and continuous maintenance of success
• Top-line and budget planning: deriving a top-line planning based on market models taking into account the planned R&D budgets and coordination of voting rounds in the business area

Your profile

• Qualification: completed studies in engineering, economic engineering, business management or a similar field
• Know-how: comprehensive knowledge of the global shipbuilding market for commercial and military vessels
• Experience: multiannual experience in product management as well as market models, business cases and deriving sales planning based on market forecasts
• Soft Skills: independent, independent working and strategic thinking as well as a high level of team spirit, communication strength and enthusiasm
• Programs: safe application of all MS Office applications, knowledge of the SAP module R/3 of advantage
• Languages: knowledge of German and English
