We maintain, manage and manage the strategy, processes and infrastructure in the area of data analytics, both for business intelligence and “big data” applications. Together with various stakeholders from the business units, we develop the Data Analytics Strategy and Project Roadmap and are responsible for building a modern infrastructure.

This is what we expect as a working student Data Intelligence Engineer (m/w/d)

• You work on a strategic, cross-group project in a cross-functional team with agile project management methods

• Step by step, you take on your own task packages in the area of data engineering (implementation, monitoring, ...) and/or data analytics (data analysis, dashboarding, metadata management, ...)

• Know cloud technologies for analytic applications

• You work with exciting technologies (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Kafka, Python, Postgres, SQL/NoSQL, Amazon Web Services, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft PowerBI)

• In your studies, you have chosen as a focus (economic) informatics, software engineering or data analytics

• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills

• You have knowledge of one or more of these technologies: Python, Kafka, Java, SQL/NoSQL, Amazon Web Services, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, dbt, Dynatrace, Grafana, Informatica (CDGC, CDQ), MS PowerBI

• With Data Engineering: Ideally, you could gain first experience with version management (GitHub) and CI/CD processes

• You have knowledge of German and good English
