Technical Writer - Special Purpose Machinery / Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

We are an internationally oriented mechanical engineering company and have been producing innovative machines and systems for cutting and straightening thin and sensitive metal strips since 1945. We develop and manufacture customer-specific products with the highest standards of quality and precision at our location in Remchingen.

Your future colleagues are looking forward to you. You are responsible for the independent production and maintenance of the entire technical documentation – from operating and service instructions to spare parts lists for our machines and systems. As a central interface, you agree closely with the specialist areas such as design, project management and service to prepare all technical information precisely. You translate complex technical facts into understandable content and visualize them by creating illustrations and explosion drawings. You ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines and continuously develop our internal documentation standards and editorial guidelines. You control the entire translation process, coordinate external service providers and maintain our multilingual documentation in German and English.

You have completed technical training and have at least 6 years of experience in the technical editorial office, ideally in special machinery or plant engineering. Thanks to your strong technical understanding, you can read drawings, CAD data and schematics securely and quickly capture complex facts. You are versed in the creation of structured technical documentation taking into account the relevant standards and guidelines. A very careful, independent and solution-oriented way of working is just as good as your pleasure in voting with various disciplines. You communicate safely in German and well in English, both in word and in writing.
