Your position is newly created and reports directly to the Global Head of Tax. You are part of an experienced, closely collaborative tax team and take responsibility for all sales tax concerns of the company. Consulting the Business Units – You advise the operating business units in all sales tax issues and work closely with the tax business partners as well as relevant departments. SAP S/4HANA implementation – You actively accompany the introduction of SAP S/4HANA in the company and ensure that all sales tax requirements are fully and compliant. Process and system optimization – You develop the sales tax processes and systems in Germany and internationally and continuously optimize them. Tax audits – You support tax audits in Germany and abroad (focus on sales tax) and accompany special sales tax topics that may occur. Policies & Compliance – You set up group-wide sales tax policies and internal process instructions and keep them up to date to ensure uniform tax compliance.

Training – successfully completed economic or legal studies with a focus on taxes (or comparable qualification); a completed tax advisor exam is advantageous. Professional experience – at least 8–10 years of relevant professional experience in the turnover tax sector, ideally acquired in one of the major audit or consulting companies (Big4) or a comparable complex business environment. Knowledge of German and international sales tax law and the current sales tax compliance requirements. IT/SAP competence – high IT and process affinity; excellent knowledge in handling SAP (ideally SAP S/4HANA) and experience with tax ERP system processes. Soft Skills – Embossed team and communication skills, safe occurrence as well as a proactive, solution-oriented and analytical method. Language knowledge – Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, in order to be sovereign in both the national and international environments.
