Global Head of Machining Engineering (m/f/d)

As Global Head of Machining Engineering (m/w/d), you take over the global responsibility for the strategic development of Machining technologies within our organization. You design the technological roadmap, drive innovations and coordinate international development activities in precision machining. In this key position, you will lead a global network of engineering teams and ensure that technological development, innovation and engineering standards are optimally matched to each other worldwide. This makes a significant contribution to the competitiveness of future optical production systems and to the further development of modern production technologies.

PhD or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, optical technology or a comparable discipline. Multiannual experience in an engineering or R&D leadership role in an international industrial environment. Knowledge of cutting technologies, precision technology or optical manufacturing. Experience in managing international development projects and interdisciplinary teams. Knowledge of innovation management and intellectual property management (IP). Embossed leadership, communication and stakeholders management skills. Very good knowledge of English and German
