Social education:in (m/d) For this indefinite job in the open child and youth work in the „Bruno-Bröker-Haus“ with 39 hours a week, EG S 12 TVöD-SUE, we look forward to a pedagogically competent, team-oriented, communication-strong and dedicated personality. Pedagogical work – Contact for young people in the open area, implementation of group offers, projects and holiday programmes, as well as advice and individual assistance for visitors:in the establishment Initiation, (further) development, planning – demand-oriented, attractive and innovative offers Promoting participation – supporting young people in implementing their own ideas and promoting democracy skills Network work – cooperation with schools, associations, the teams of the urban institutions of open child and youth work, urban school social work and other actors: Changes and additions to the area of responsibility and to the assignment of tasks remain reserved.

Completed study (at least bachelor) of the courses Social Work, Social Education or a comparable educational degree which serves to carry out the described task German knowledge at least level C1 Empathy and openness for the problems and the worlds of life of young people as well as creative ideas for the design and (further) development of attractive, innovative, youth-oriented offers and projects are provided Experience in (open) pedagogical work with children and adolescents and team-oriented work is desirable Participation skills, intercultural, inclusive and digital skills are desirable A secure handling of the PC and target-group-oriented expressability in word and writing are provided The willingness to flexible working hours, even in the evening hours and on weekends, is expected You do not meet all the variable requirements, but do You want to work quickly and systematically into matter? The youth house is located in the centre of Ahrensburg and offers open child and youth work for young people from 12 to 21 years. The “Bruno-Bröker-Haus” includes, among other things, a wooden and creative workshop, a beautiful stage and music spaces with many possibilities for young people to spend their spare time meaningfully. The youth house is oriented towards the interests of young people and offers a place for informal and intercultural learning. The pedagogical work is based on three pillars: open area, group offers and individual support and advice. The team consists of three general pedagogues. The opening hours are in the afternoon and evening hours and partly on weekends. In addition, multi-day holiday periods take place. .
