As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. We create the infrastructure for the energy transition by maintaining, optimizing and expanding the high-voltage network according to needs. With our network, we not only make the country an innovative power turntable in the heart of Europe, but also make the energy system of the future significant. The area of plant operation carries out the operation and maintenance of the 380- and 220-kV network of free lines in the area. Furthermore, on behalf of the project management, we carry out the quality control for commissioned construction measures on the network. The aim of the plant operation is to ensure trouble-free and accident-free operation with high plant availability. You carry out construction checks in open-air projects on site, such as steel constructions, foundations, rope hoists and the instruction of the construction site personnel, You serve the high-voltage network in the areas of free line with associated components such as masts, insulators, conductor cables, foundations etc. You are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the high-voltage network according to VDE 0105 T 100, including inspection, maintenance, de-intrusion/restoration as well as trace care measures on the lines You are responsible for the safe implementation of work for the operation of the electrical system which belongs to the workstation You take over the operational quality assurance in projects and the associated documentation and represent the TransnetBW on site in the context of free line projects to third parties You support the project management in the follow-up and work-up of quality shortcomings and other deviations and pay attention to compliance with rules You will receive an operating vehicle and participate in the standby service for fault localization and repair

You have completed technical or master training in the field of electrical engineering, steel construction, construction or comparable experience You ideally already have knowledge and experience in the field of open-air construction and in cooperation with service providers You provide a high level of willingness to acquire additional qualifications in the fields of free line and electrical engineering. You are characterized by team skills, independent and structured working and enforcement You have a high readiness to travel and have a class B driving licence
