More than 250 employees work under one roof with the Software Innovation Campus of the University of Paderborn as well as other institutes and start-ups at our location at the Zukunftsmeile in Paderborn. The focus is on system and software development for industrial automation and digitization, electronic and electromagnetic testing in our in-house laboratory, machine learning and artificial intelligence. As a Senior System Architect Power Electronics, you design the system architecture of our next generation of power supply platforms and set the course for performance, scalability and costs. You act as a central technology Contact persons across projects and product lines.

Development of scalable, modular system architectures for performance electronics with a clear focus on target costs and industrial feasibility structuring complex systems and deriving sound architectural decisions Definition of clear interfaces and functional descriptions for a consistent overall system Assessment and optimization of architectures in terms of performance, costs and reusability Close cooperation with hardware, control and firmware experts Responsibility for the integrity, consistency and sustainability of system architecture Active visualisation of architectural stalls, risks and conflicts of objectives, and consistent implementation of appropriate decisions and countermeasures Building and developing a reusable platform across several product families

Study of electrical engineering or comparable (Master / Diploma) More than 15 years of experience in the development of performance electronic systems Proven responsibility for system architectures or platform concepts in the industrial environment Ability to structure complex systems, make informed decisions and to develop sustainable over several iterations Ability to clearly moderate technical decision-making processes even in different opinions Very good German and English skills in word and writing
