Senior Engineer SAP EWM (m/f/d)

Conception & development: In this role you create technical concepts and develop extensions as well as interfaces in the SAP EWM (decentral and S/4HANA Embedded), including BAdIs, User-Exits, Enhancements and ABAP OO. EWM functionalities: You know yourself in central EWM processes – from inbound/outbound to goods movements and inventory management to HU management, RF framework and jobs/Queues; optionally, you also take MFS topics. Interfaces & Integration: You also know how to connect to ERP and S/4HANA. You also know how EWM embeds in the context of the SD/MM/PP modules and work closely with the corresponding module teams. You have experience with the interface technologies IDoc/ALE, RFC and OData/REST (optional SOAP) to connect 3rd party systems and ERP Fiori/UI5 development: In addition, you develop modern surfaces for EWM processes, for example for upgrading RF transactions and for user-friendly apps for camp employees. Specifications & Architecture: Together with the specialist consultancy, you will create technical specifications, make effort estimates and develop viable architectural concepts. Quality & operation: In addition, you build quality standards (ATC, Code Inspector, Unit tests), optimize performance and support release and transport management; Error analysis and 3rd level support are available in agile teams.

EWM Focus: You have several years of experience as SAP developers: with a clear focus on EWM – decentralized or S/4 Embedded. ABAP & Extensions: Very good knowledge of ABAP OO, BAdIs/User-Exits and Enhancements as well as safe handling of EWM-specific Developer-Customizing you bring. Integration & Frontend: Ideally you have well-founded practice in system integration (IDoc/ALE, RFC) and OData/REST. Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus and knowledge in EWM MFS. Logistics know-how: A well-founded understanding of goods receipt/output, commissioning, refurbishment, inventory as well as HU and warehouse management distinguishes you. Documentation & cooperation: You are sure to create and read technical specifications and work with the subject areas at eye level. Communication talent: You can communicate safely in German and English – both internally and externally.
