The Asklepios Klinikum Harburg is a house of focus for the Hamburger Süd and the metropolitan region. From general to spinal surgery we have 24 specialist departments with a total of 852 beds and 162 seats in our daily clinics. Our clinic focuses on providing patients with complex diseases. More than 2,500 employees each year: around 95,000 patients:inside.

In the clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics, people with a wide range of mental illnesses are treated at nine stations. Our offer includes: acute stations, transdiagnostic stations with focus on emotional disorders, transition station, station for people with trauma disorders, station for people with dependency disorders and/or ADHD, station for people with bipolar and psychotic disorders. In five day clinics, we offer various psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment options, including for people with stress follower diseases. The outpatient treatment is carried out in three psychiatric hospitals in Harburg, Neugraben and Wilhelmsburg. The offer is supplemented by a STÄB team and a parent-child station in close cooperation with the child and youth psychiatry. Our clinic works closely in a network with the outpatient and outpatient facilities, including in the model project “Hamburger Süd”. We implement the socially psychological treatment concept in a multi-professional and inclusive manner. Weekly case-conferences, further training and supervision are of course available, the full training authorization with a wide range of training for the FA for psychiatry and psychotherapy is available.
