Construction mechanic shipbuilding technology – production of torpedo tubes (m/f/d)

You manufacture shipbuilding torpedo tubes and produce assemblies and components for torpedo tube production, focusing on naval activities in the submarine construction. You carry out welding, cutting and other specialist joining techniques. You work according to technical drawings, production documents and piece lists. You control quality and carry out measurements of the manufactured components. You test welds visually and prepare the seam surfaces professionally. You comply with all safety regulations and document your work according to technical standards.

You have completed vocational training as a construction mechanic (m/w/d) in the field of shipbuilding technology, welding technology or a comparable qualification in the metal sector. Ideally, you have experience in shipbuilding, special machine construction or in military engineering. You have at least three years of professional experience. You can safely read and implement technical drawings. You control several welding processes (e.g. 141, 111, 135) and are sure to do so. Valid welding certificates (e.g. MAG, WIG) are advantageous. You are ready to participate occasionally in assembly or foreign operations. You have at least expert language skills in German.
