Buyer (m/w/d)

We are looking for our customers, a mechanical engineering company based in Bielefeld, at the next possible time as part of 'Testing and Adjusting'' Projektmanager (m/w/d). Your mission is long-term and a takeover is planned for suitability. Work is done in full time at 40 hours. You are burning for exciting negotiations and want to keep the threads in hand in the procurement itself? You want to take responsibility and actively shape the future of the company in a dynamic environment? Then you are right with our customer! For the team we are looking for you as a buyer (m/w/d) metal.

You take responsibility for purchasing metals and metalworking components such as steel, aluminium or semi-finished products

Together with quality assurance and technology, you choose and evaluate suitable suppliers

You conduct negotiations on prices, delivery conditions and framework contracts and take care of a smooth supply chain management

You continuously test the metal market and analyze price and market developments

You make sure that materials are available on time and within the framework of budget and quality requirements

More than just numbers and negotiations Complete technical training, ideally with experience in mechanical engineering

Structured, independent working and real team skills

Good knowledge of materials and their applications in the metal sector

Safe handling of ERP systems as well as experience in MS Word and Excel

Sovereign negotiating skills and enforcement
