Supplier: Chair of Science Theory and Technology Philosophy and Philosophical Institute The focus in the Human-Technology-Society department represents the philosophy in its entire range in Bachelor and Master's degree programs. The focus of the task lies in the teaching of philosophy in its entire width (theoretical and practical philosophy). Teaching must be provided both in the theoretical philosophy (incl. theory of argumentation and logic) and the practical philosophy (incl. ethics and political philosophy) in the amount of 12 SWS (semester week hours) plus pre- and post-preparation of teaching. The teaching is performed in the bachelor's degree programs with the participation of philosophy in the existing modules of theoretical philosophy and practical philosophy. If necessary, English-language teaching can also be required in the planned Master's programme Philosophy of AI. The area of responsibility also includes the advice of students as part of the specialist study consultancy, the independent implementation of examination and correction tasks as well as the examination management. The cooperation and publication activities in the focus of the philosophy of the group Human-Technology-Society are expected.

With very good to good success completed academic studies (master or comparable) in the field of philosophy. With very good to good success completed doctorate in philosophy. Teaching experience in the theoretical philosophy (in particular logic, theory of argumentation, theory of knowledge, digital philosophy) as well as practical philosophy (in particular ethics, political philosophy) proved, for example, via good to very good teaching evaluations. Ready to participate in the 'Lehren an der RWTH' by Excellent Academic Teaching at the Center for Teaching and Teaching Services (CLS).
