Specialist in commercial contract management in public transport

Senior Consultant (m/w/d) You actively recognise the economic implementation of our transport contracts in rail passenger transport, identify risks and potentials at an early stage and drive forward negotiations. To ensure that our railway services are provided reliably, efficiently and customer-oriented.

Your specific tasks: You ensure that the contractual regulations of our transport contracts are implemented economically correctly and keep in mind all commercial and operational key figures – from the billing of additional train kilometers up to penals in case of failures You identify economic risks (e.g. by increasing energy/personnel costs or road closures) and at the same time assess the chances of improving earnings You develop sound calculations for contract changes, performance adjustments or supplements, including controlling data You prepare economic arguments and conduct follow-up negotiations with contracting authorities to achieve sustainable solutions for both sides You prepare reports for department management, management and corporate bodies and support sound decisions You are co-responsible for the creation of transport contracts and are involved in the development of monthly and annual accounts. Support the maintenance and further development of IT-based analysis, reporting and key figures tools for the mapping of transport contracts also

You bring a successfully completed study with an economic focus (e.g. business management, economics, controlling, etc.), alternatively a training as a specialist or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in the field You have an affinity for the commercial consideration of contractual matters and the implementation of the agreed transport services You have already gained experience in project or contract management You have basic knowledge of contract law or are willing to acquire them in the vicinity of our transport contracts in rail passenger transport. You have fun analyzing numbers and go to the bottom to find practical solutions You are characterized by a very good expressiveness in word and writing (German and English) and convince by negotiation skills Very good computer knowledge, especially in MS Excel, SAP (FI/CO) and in handling data systems, complete your profile
