The position as IT Security Engineer (w/m/d) includes ensuring IT security in the areas of network, client and telephony as well as coordination with external service providers such as SOC/MOC. You perform vulnerability analysis and patch management in a hybrid cloud environment with Windows and Linux. You secure SLAs and escalation processes in the security environment and participate in service evaluations as well as Threat intelligence rounds. You support the operation in the design of secure automation solutions in the Azure and Azure-Local environment. You integrate security solutions in operational processes and use tools such as Tennable Nessus, XDR, Splunk and CheckMK agents. You're working on security incidents, analysing Alerts, and you're going to take action to resolve them. You document security incidents and create technical solutions to avoidance. You are a partner for the Security Operations Center and the Monitoring Operations Center. You're planning communication matrices and escalation levels. You define roles and responsibilities in the incident handling and participate in process optimization workshops.

Complete study of computer science, information technology or a comparable qualification (is a 'must').
