Senior IT Requirements Engineer – Relocatable Data Centers (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. Senior IT Requirements Engineer (m/w/d) from now on and in full time, ideally in the Bonn area, alternatively nationwide at a BWI location. The Customer Solution Unit CIR & See is responsible for BWI's projects and projects towards the customer in the dimensions “Cyber- & Informationsraum” and “See” of the Bundeswehr. This includes solutions in the context of IT, in support of operations and exercises, for transferable systems, to ensure the IT supply of Bw abroad and also of the Marine, both for stationary and sea-based shares.

Requirements Management for an IT large-scale project in the context of the IT of the Bundeswehr, which is close to use, including the interface function to the internal and external stakeholders in relation to new requirements as well as clarification and change requirements Examination of defined requirements for completeness, quality, comprehensibility, consistency and technical feasibility, taking into account dependencies and risks and support of the project in prioritizing the requirements Implementation of Requirement Workshops with BWI's customers and performance units to coordinate and refine the requirements Control of the creation of specific test case criteria per request both externally with the customer and internally with the professional contact persons Identification, preparation, communication and accompaniment of changes, including corresponding customer arrangements, as well as evaluation of the impact of changes, including possible introduction of contractual adjustments Collection, documentation and maintenance of all defined requirements in a central load booklet or Requirements Document as “Single Source of Truth” and Transfer of Requirements, incl. Quality Assurance Measures to the Require7)

Completed studies or comparable training in the field of IT and/or business About 5 years of professional experience in requirements engineering, ideally in the IT infrastructure environment of an enterprise company Experience in technical requirements management for and in the collection, presentation and summary of process chains in IT and infrastructure projects Knowledge of modelling and management-oriented presentation of results obtained and experience in the application of project management methods Experience in Bundeswehr- or NATO projects and/or in dealing with stakeholders in the public sector Stress resistance, analytical thinking, good organizational, communication and conflict skills, as well as a targeted, careful and conscientious approach German and good English skills and readiness to travel
