You drive as a laser technology expert or Laser technology expert in our demanding and highly complex R&D developments for industrial laser processes (e.g. laser welding) - from the first target definition and concept phase to the development in pilot machines to the standard maturity in our special machine construction you design innovative laser solutions with real industrial added value. You conduct technologically challenging development tasks with a focus on laser technology – with a special focus on industrial applications such as laser welding – and bring them into practice from idea to implementation. You take on (partial) project responsibility for exciting laser developments, guide the project teams professionally and ensure smooth implementation. You control, implement and control all operational development steps – in compliance with cost and time requirements. You check and approve R&D tiles in close coordination with internal interfaces and external suppliers. You ensure the smooth flow of information between the R&D team and all areas involved (e.g. construction, PLC programming, etc.). You plan and engage laboratory structures in our modern laser laboratory, perform test series and validate prototypes – with a clear focus on robust industrial laser processes. You use statistical methods specifically in process development to ensure stable and efficient laser processes. You document development progress, analyze results and take the next steps. You create quality-proof documentation in close cooperation with the QA department.

Completion of engineering studies in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, physical engineering or a comparable qualification At least 3 years of relevant professional experience with a focus on laser technology or Laser processes in the engineering sector of a manufacturing company Team player with very good communication skills High motivation and flexibility combined with great self-responsibility Ability to structure problem analysis and solution finding Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
