Number: MER0003Y9L Mercedes Benz AG combines over 100 years of history with the Berlin site. The Mercedes-Benz plant in Berlin was founded in 1902, the oldest producing plant in the Group. The focus of the site has been on the production of state-of-the-art powertrain components and parts produced with environmentally friendly manufacturing technologies. In the course of the transformation of the automotive industry, our work is also in a change, from pure production and assembly sizes, to a technology location with the center for digitization of the entire production network and a production location for high performance electric motors. You get the opportunity to actively participate in this transformation as part of an internship. For your internship we offer interesting insights into strategic and operational project management, internal processes and associated interface processes such as production, quality management, production planning, assembly planning, tool planning, logistics etc. Another exciting topic that should be addressed is active participation in the design of a machine database system (SQL). The production planning fulfils three core tasks within this project: As project management, the planning is responsible for the totality of the terminological, monetary and technical objectives. The planning develops the process chains and acquires the necessary means of production for this purpose, in the start-up, the planning is responsible for the optimization of the machines up to the achievement of the production characteristics. After completion of the project phase, the planning takes over series support, with the following contents: change planning (evaluation and derivation of measures) and process optimization.
