Number: MER0004502 At Mercedes-Benz we offer you an exciting and varied workshop student office in the field of measurement technology development and prototype design for highly automated prototype vehicles. In our team we develop architecture and measurement technology for the next generation of driver assistance systems. In addition, we are responsible for the initial construction of development and prototype vehicles for testing highly automated driving functions. Our task ranges from the cabling and mechanical integration of the components, vehicle installation and technical documentation. This makes a significant contribution to the development of autonomous driving. These tasks come to you: Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and construction instructions

Support for the construction of highly automated development vehicles

Manufacturing and labelling of cable sets for sensor technology and measurement technology

Smaller assembly work on vehicles and prototypes

Commissioning and provision of components and components

Support in the development and production of components by means of 3D printing

The activity can begin from December 2026.

Studies in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable technical course

Basic understanding in the field of vehicle technology, sensor technology or automated/autonomous driving

First practical experience in the technical environment is desirable

Structured, independent and reliable operation

Commitment, initiative and high team capacity

Communication strength and joy in cooperation in in interdisciplinary teams

Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing

Hands-on mentality and interest in practical activities in vehicle and prototype construction
