Safety and Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks - shape the future together: You control and develop the safety management system as well as the compliance monitoring system in the areas of Part-145, Part-CAMO and NCC flight operations. You ensure that regulatory, regulatory and internal requirements are met reliably. You promote a lived safety culture and help to anchor safety and compliance issues in the organization in a sustainable manner. You identify and evaluate security risks, analyze relevant events, reports and developments and then take appropriate measures to ensure that you follow consistently. You plan and accompany internal audits, inspections and system checks and ensure effective processing of deviations and measures. You accompany official audits and reviews and contribute to the creation, testing and further development of manuals, management system documentation and procedural instructions. You work closely with the relevant departments, advise managers in safety and compliance issues and support changes in the company from a regulatory and organisational perspective. You sensitize employees for safety, compliance and reporting issues and create meaningful reports and key figures for management.

Your profile - grow together: You have completed studies in the field of aviation, engineering, quality management, safety management or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you will bring relevant aviation or aviation training with corresponding additional qualification in the field of compliance and/or safety management. You have multi-year relevant professional experience and ideally bring experience in responsible function in one or more of the areas Part-145, Part-CAMO or NCC flight operations. You know the applicable European and national aviation regulations and have a good understanding of compliance monitoring, safety management, occurrence reporting and human factors. You bring experience in conducting audits, evaluating risks, and in cooperation with authorities and regulatory interfaces. You are safe in the creation, maintenance and further development of air navigation-specific manuals and management system documentation. Ideally, you have good knowledge of Office 365 and have already worked with WebManuals. You convince by analytical thinking and a structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working. High sense of responsibility, integrity and enforcement, as well as the ability to objectively evaluate complex facts. You communicate safely with different hierarchical levels and have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. In addition, you bring the personal and professional suitability to perform safety and compliance tasks independently, and have a good understanding of operational processes in maintenance, maintenance of airworthiness and flight operations.
