Your mission

• Development of custom applications, modules and functions to meet specific customer requirements as well as identification and optimization of existing solutions to increase efficiency
• Application of programming languages, in particular JavaScript, to develop scripts, business rules, client scripts and UI Policies
• Use of middleware and integration solutions to ensure seamless communication between different systems and to implement user feedback into development work
• Designing user-friendly surfaces and implementing responsive designs to ensure a positive user experience on different devices
• Identification and elimination of technical problems within the ServiceNow applications as well as compliance with best practices and standards to ensure the viability and scalability of solutions
• Cooperation with project teams, documentation of developed solutions and training of new team members and continuous training in new functions and technologies of ServiceNow

Your skills

• Absolutely necessary: comprehensive understanding of the ServiceNow architecture, modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM) and data models as well as basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis
• Desirable: mastery of ServiceNow development tools (Studio, Scoped Applications, Update Sets) and strong knowledge in JavaScript as well as scripting concepts such as Scripted REST APIs, Business Rules and Client Scripts
• Experience in implementing and using REST and SOAP APIs as well as knowledge in integration solutions for data exchange between ServiceNow and other systems
• Understanding the principles of user interfaces and user experience as well as experience in customizing forms, lists and dashboards
• Ability to diagnose errors in scripts, conduct tests (unit and integration) as well as the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, application of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) as well as commitment to continuing training in new ServiceNow functions
• As an experienced:r consultant:in and structured:r team player:in with enormous own initiative, you have a pronounced communication skills as well as reliable knowledge of German and English
