Your role Responsible for the pitch polishing of optical components, ensuring high surface quality and maintaining predetermined tolerances and surface characteristics

Preparation and implementation of the pitch polishing process, including material preparation, cleaning processes and the use of optimized polishing agents

Monitoring and fine tuning of process parameters (printing, speed, loading, types of rotation) for reproducibility and efficiency enhancement

Measurements and audits carried out in accordance with the test plan (purity, form/plane, dimensional accuracy) and documentation of the results

error analysis and process optimization for deviations; Cooperation with QM, manufacturing and development for continuous improvement

maintenance, calibration and cleanliness of the working environment; compliance with safety and environmental regulations and, where appropriate, Willingness to shift or work

Complete design in the field of fine optics Knowledge of optical manufacturing including relevant process steps, quality requirements and test criteria

Comprehensive experience in manual polishing, selection and application of bad luck, control of pressure, time and movement as well as target surface quality

Experience in handling crystalline materials

Measurement and testing competence: safe use of measuring devices for surface characterization (Ra, shape/planity, surface quality) and documentation according to test plans.
