The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS Children's Village in Berlin supports and accompanies families, children and youth for more than 30 years with diverse, differentiated offers. From the approach of networking and systemic perspectives, we are established in several locations in the capital – from Hellersdorf to Reinickendorf and Mitte to Spandau – with our offers on site in the social areas: these include child and family assistance (stationary offers, education and family advice, family and district centers, children's daycare, multi-generational home), school-related assistance and projects as well as diverse offers in the field of training and vocational training.

As an area manager in our two family centers – the family center Mitte and the multigeneration house as well as the family and district center Hellersdorf – you are included for the open offers. the cafeteria as well as for our inclusion skita and bear the educational, economic and human responsibility. Our houses are open places of encounter and education, support and advice with diverse networked offers. Its task is to further develop the areas and facilities, to manage personnel, to manage the project and quality as well as to work within the framework of funding programmes. Staff selection and development: You are responsible for the selection, leadership and development of about 30 colleagues from different professions. Control and coordination: You control, coordinate and control the educational, human and financial goals and processes. Project development: Develop and implement new projects and programs to advance our offer taking into account the funding landscape . Team development: Organize and guide teams and specialist days, support and promote constructive cooperation. Cooperation and networking: maintain close cooperation with relevant partners at district and senate level as well as free institutions, umbrella organisations and social actors. Representation Tasks: Take public and professional representation tasks. Child and care protection: You ensure the implementation and compliance of the protection of children and persons.

You have a university degree as a pedagogue or social pedagogue or equivalent degree. You bring professional and managerial experience and have profound knowledge in the field of child and youth assistance, very much in the area of family and district centres and/or with Kita. A valuable and cooperative leadership style is of course for you. A reflected, professional action, solution orientation and openness for new things are your way of working. You have economic thinking, act sustainably and have experiences in the funding scene. You have an inclusive and resource-oriented view.
