For our IT systems & infrastructure department at our site in Essen, we are looking for a

Senior Network Administrator (m/w/d) Responsibility for the safe operation of the BGZ core network at the Essen headquarters and the connections of our sites according to BSI-IT basic protection Mainly developing the network with regard to security, availability and speed performing the disturbance analysis and elimination Working with the creation of operational concepts, documentation and tenders

Successfully completed training in the IT sector or in computer science or alternatively via a cross-entry with many years of professional experience in the operation of complex, segmented networks (LAN and WAN) Extensive experience in design, configuration and operation of switches, routers and firewalls of well-known manufacturers (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, Dell, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks etc.) Experience with the operation and disorder of segmented networks, static routing, MPLS, 802.1x Own-responsible, earnings- and target-oriented mode of operation Teamability and Analytical Thinking High commitment and responsibility
