The Brandenburg IT service provider (ZIT-BB) is the central IT service provider for the direct state administration of Brandenburg and stands for efficient and professional IT services from a single source. The extensive portfolio of tasks includes the planning, control and operation of the technical infrastructure, as well as the coordination and support of specific, but also cross-resort, common IT procedures. Furthermore, the state company is responsible for the security management for the IT infrastructure of the Landesverwaltung and the IT project management.

The project management competence centre is responsible for all IT projects at ZIT-BB and advises the management and customers on topics related to projects. The ZIT-BB projects are implemented on the basis of the IPMA NCB 4.0 standard. In addition to project management, this department also includes multi-project management with an active PMO and the program management of the ZIT-BB.
