Team Lead Accounting with a high degree of creative freedom (m/f/d)

You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of an experienced accounting team in Germany and, together with your team, you are responsible for a smooth, timely and high-quality accounting operation across a variety of companies. In doing so, you are the central contact person for complex accounting questions and introduces your technical strength especially where standard processes end and solution-oriented thinking is required. You actively shape the further development of structures, processes and leadership formats and introduce your ideas to create the accounting area step by step even more efficiently, more uniform and sustainable. Another focus of your role is the support of digitalization and system topics, in particular the introduction of an integrated ERP system and the further professionalization of the existing process landscape. In close cooperation with relevant interfaces as well as the international accounting organization, you will ensure that professional quality, pragmatic implementation and clear priorities come together. At the same time, you remain close to the operating business and understand leadership as a combination of professional sovereignty, good cooperation and the need to perform together as a team.

You bring well-founded experience in operating accounting and move safely in monthly and annual accounts as well as in more complex accounting and special topics. Ideally, you know company structures with multiple units or in stake-set-ups; more important than a very specific industry background, however, is that you quickly capture complexity and make pragmatically manageable. You've already gained leadership experience or teamed with a professionally decisive role, bringing your personal maturity to an experienced team at eye level and to represent them outside. Process optimization, digitalization and system changes are encouraging you because you are not only strong in day-to-day business, but also enjoy doing things better. You communicate clearly, bindingly and collegially, work in a solution-oriented manner and keep an overview even when several topics come parallel to you.
