Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

User support Advise users and user groups in the application of HW/SW tools as part of the IT policy. Specification of required IT facilities as well as ordering, preparation and coordination of the necessary installation measures. Collection of technical data, price information and delivery information, including coordination with suppliers. Installation: Coordination and verification of installation measures by commissioned employees. Coordination with other ICS departments to ensure proper implementation. Independent installation, configuration, testing and provision of hardware and software for client and server systems. Instruction of users during the commissioning of realized IT facilities. Helpdesk and handling of IT problems: Processing of IT messages in direct user contact and eliminating interference in client, server and network systems with low complexity. Monitoring the problem solution according to SLA and escalation as required. Detection of recurring disturbance patterns and implementation of structural improvements in the sense of problem management.

Knowledge of the installation, configuration and support of client, server and network systems (including Microsoft) Experience in 1st and 2nd level support as well as in the structured analysis and improvement of IT skills. Knowledge in handling user accounts, permissions and license structures. Ability to consult users and to coordinate technical requirements with departments and IT departments. Structured and document-oriented mode of operation. Good communication capability, service orientation and ability to work with users, suppliers and internal IT units. Very good language skills in German and English complete your profile
