Planning, control and monitoring of UIL inbound transport via all modes of transport incl. Advertising management Control of the entry of goods in coordination with the operational areas Coordination of import duty with all relevant interfaces (purchase, receipt of goods, customs service providers and suppliers) and ensuring the necessary master data, documentation and archiving processes Analysis of transport flows using relevant KPIs and implementation of appropriate optimization measures Call for tenders, negotiations and management of transport service providers in Germany and abroad incl. Contract and pricing Creation of KPI-based reports and management evaluations for performance and cost management Ensuring compliance with transport compliance requirements and documentation of relevant transport processes Standardization, digitization and automation of transport processes as well as continuous development of transport organisation Development of transport management systems, interfaces and KPI-based control instruments Contact person for transport logistics questions and central interface between purchasing, goods receipt, suppliers and logistics service providers Examination and approval of transport, customs and customs declarations Cooperation and management of projects with transport logistics Representation of Transportation Specialist Air, Sea, Express

Bachelor in Transport and Logistics or Training as/to the Kaufmann/-frau (m/w/d) for forwarding and logistics services with professional experience Funded knowledge and experience in transport KPIs, transport logistics, transport law and tender and negotiation processes Expertise in Touring and Network Planning Knowledge of the automation of (transport) processes Secure handling of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as basic knowledge in SAP Ability to cross-interface coordination and independent work Good English and very good German skills
