Your Tasks • You learn to distinguish different textiles and materials and to identify their specific care needs. • You prepare clothes and other textiles for machine cleaning. • You serve cleaning and washing machines as well as dryers and defects. • You use different cleaning methods – from wet cleaning to dry cleaning. • You learn the environmentally friendly and safe handling of detergents and chemicals . • You check the cleaned textiles for quality and damage and carry out minor improvements if necessary. • You document work steps and note hygiene and quality standards .

Your Profile • You have your school degree (almost) in your pocket. • You are interested in technical processes and chemical processes. • A careful and reliable way of working distinguishes you. • You have a sense of cleanliness, order and hygiene. • Handicraft skill and pleasure in practical work you bring. • You like to work in a team.
