Auditor - Düsseldorf office (m/f/d)

The EKiR Audit Office shall, at the earliest possible date, be a body as Accountant (m/w/d) indefinitely. The examination team is responsible for around 800 ecclesiastical bodies, associations, works and institutions of the EKiR “between Kleve and Saarbrücken and between Altenkirchen and Aachen”. The place to be occupied has its headquarters in Düsseldorf.

You carry out the audit of the annual accounts of clients independently and accompany them with expertly qualified advice You provide advice to clients in order to meet their responsibility in terms of optimising the cost-effectiveness of budget management and organisation as well as the internal control system You shall be responsible for special examinations (if applicable in cooperation with experts/auditors) You develop the ecclesiastical audit standards and audit processes in the team You develop proposals for internal process optimization (efficiency) You support the quality assurance of audit reports (report criticism)

completed studies of economics, law or discipline Administration or a comparable qualification audited account holder (IHK/EKD) or a comparable qualification relevant, multiannual experience as a financial accountant, ideally as a examiner or comparable activities readiness to take over “special areas” for special examinations (e.g. staff, foundation law, IT, cemetery, organization etc.) Initiative, self-employment, cooperation, analytical thinking and judgment, flexibility, negotiation skills, high readiness for performance and enforcement respectful communication and team-oriented working Ability to identify conflict potentials and sovereign handling of potential conflicts IT competence
