Team Leader – Operational Network Management (m/f/d)

You lead the “Operative Network Management” team and are responsible for the safe network operation in Baden-Württemberg – today and with a view to the fundamentally changing energy system of the future. Your team is responsible for the operational network management in our main switching line in 24/7 shift operation and develops the network management professionally, organizationally and conceptually. As part of the European network and in close coordination with internal and external partners, you will ensure network security in real-time operation of the transmission network in Baden-Württemberg. You further develop network management concepts, in particular in bottleneck management and emergency operation, and introduce the requirements of network management into the further development of IT tools of waiting workstations. In addition, you are responsible for cross-sectional tasks of the system management, including the infrastructure of our waiting locations, as well as for the maintenance and development of regulations and operational contracts. You work with German and European transmission system operators, distribution system operators, power plants, authorities and national and international working groups and represent the operational network management and TransnetBW.

You have completed a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology or a comparable qualification You are ideally experiencing network management, system management, control, network operation or experience in a comparable technical environment with You have the pleasure of taking operational responsibility, making decisions based on solutions and also giving orientation in challenging situations You lead to appreciation, promote an open culture of errors and feedback and help employees develop their professional and personal strengths You combine responsibility with willingness to change and create an environment in which cooperation, reliability and common learning are possible.
