The Department of Neurology covers the entire spectrum of neurological diseases. It has 43 beds, including 10 beds on a certified Stroke Unit and 8 beds on a Neuro-Guideha Station. The most modern methods such as the mechanical thrombectomy are also part of the range of services such as special ambulances for multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and neuromuscular diseases, as well as a Parkinson complex treatment.
What you expect:
- Full training authorization for neurology incl. Possibility of a one-year psychiatry rotation
- Structured training curriculum with 6-month rotation in intensive care
- Rotation in functional diagnostics (EEG, EMG, neurological ultrasound diagnostics)
- Possibility to acquire DGKN and DEGUM certificates
- twice weekly internal and semi-annual interdisciplinary training, as well as reimbursement of costs for external training
- Discharge in the administrative area by station MFAs
- Wide clinical spectrum with high technical requirements
Your profile:
- German Approbation
- First neurological pre-experiences (e.g. Famulatur, PJ or professional experience) desirable
