We develop integrative end2end test cases, but we also need to analyze the processes of the marketplace and the logistics, design solutions and support various test stages as well as the cross-functional IT teams. Due to our international composition, we exchange mainly in English and come together in full circle only remotely. Nevertheless, the part of the team working in Hamburg is very common on the Otto Campus. Many speak of “Homeoffice” – we of “hybrid or mobile work”: You can work remotely up to 50% of your monthly working hours. Our teams, together with their leadership, decide how to balance out local time and mobile work.

We are looking for support in the development of automated E2E test cases and supportive tools, the basis of which is our self-developed, java-based framework. We use tools and languages such as Jira, Confluence, Cucumber, Java, React, Python, GitHub, Cloud Services (AWS, GCP) and much more. A AI-based virtual assistant is also part of the task spectrum. Must-have: You are a registered student*in in a full-time study with a focus on computer science or the like and can support us from 01.05.2026 at least 1 year for 18 h a week. You have first experience in developing Java-based applications. Of course, you use AI tools for tasks and processes in your field. New technologies inspire you. You like to work independently, but also find teamwork and newer methods, such as pair programming interesting and have fun in integrating you into an international team. Your language level: German and English B1 ( advanced language use) Nice-to-have: You have already made first experiences with AWS, GCP or Python.
