Definition and implementation of the procurement strategy for the associated categories and development of procurement measures to optimise profitability and security of supply Analysis of procurement markets and supplier structures to raise savings potentials and to develop new sources of procurement Development of alternatives based on cost-effectiveness calculations and price comparisons Responsibility for systematic production partner management (stem data, accreditation, performance evaluation and development, profitability, risk management, sustainability aspects) Preparation and implementation of contract negotiations (including contract management) and sales price calculations Participation in ensuring and controlling the quality strategy and packaging policies Coordination of operational purchasing with the MRP team Coordination and control of listing and listing of the German assortment of our European national companies Takeover of cross-category projects

Successfully completed studies in business management and/or comparable training as well as relevant professional experience in the purchase of food Ideally knowledge in the management category of food trade and/or food industry Security in dealing with the current MS Office products and with SAP German and English knowledge in word and writing Target orientation and entrepreneurship Analytical Conceptual Know-how for Static Optimization of the Value Chain Self-employed, structured working together with team spirit, negotiation skills and sovereign occurrence Communication and persuasiveness as well as customer and service orientation Europe-wide readiness
