Program Manager Satellite Communications (m/f/d)

Your mission As a programme manager, you assume the strategic, organizational and economic responsibility for programs in the area of satellite communication/ground segment. You lead interdisciplinary teams, manage external partners and ensure successful implementation of projects in terms of budget, time, quality and risk.

Your duties End-to-end control of all program activities (scope, time, costs, risks) Development and maintenance of the program baseline incl. Re-planning and escalation Creation and control of the integrated master plan (IMS) Main contact partner:in for customers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders Professional program presentation to management, board and partners Building and maintaining strategically important relationships for business development Management of contracts, change requests and scope changes Maintaining an active risk register and deriving appropriate measures Control and selection of external partners Professional and disciplinary leadership of project and program teams Resource planning, competence development, coaching and further development of the area Introduction, optimization and monitoring of processes, tools and organizational structures Knowledge transfer, networking and ensuring smooth workflows

Completed studies in economic engineering, engineering, communications technology, space management, etc. Multiannual experience in program or project management of large, complex programs (space travel, IT, infrastructure, etc.) Experience in dealing with public contracts Understanding soil segments (Ground Stations, Network Infrastructure, MOC/NOC) Funded know-how in contract management, risk and supplier management Very good commercial understanding (budget, controlling, quality) Impressed communication and negotiation strength Entrepreneurial, strategic and solution-oriented thinking High resilience, sovereignty and decision-making competence Very good organizational skills, structured working Ability to guide larger project and management teams Motivation and strength in team and personnel development High customer orientation and competence in stakeholder management Integrative appearance, natural authority and role model function Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing readiness for regular missions
